Bob and Roberta Smith’s LP Letter to Michael Gove invades the gallery space
with the artists voice reading from a letter that he composed to the former minister for education. The artist urges the politicians to rethink the role of creatively in education. Bob and Roberta Smith continues to read out letters to other politicians including Nigel Farage and the ‘pissed off voter’. His passionate concerns for the future of art education and his worries about Nigel Farages policies as he cautions ‘ against the politics of division’ are words that haunt the gallery as the consequences of actions become evident. At times the B Side of the LP is also played adding a musical dimension from Bob and Roberta Smiths Apathy Band.
